The York Regional Forest is one of my favourite places to be.
It's all about the mass amount of trees and peaceful walks that come with each visit.
We've been coming here for years. We have pictures of Lucas being pulled in a sled on snowy days-then Josh-then Matt... We have pictures that have been turned into paintings and highlighted in frames and books from our trips to this very place.
Every time I drive by, a sense of calm comes over me.
From where we are staying now, we can access the forest from the 9th line-a different entry point from where we normally go.
As usual, new special sticks were picked up and played with by the boys. Miss Willow got herself wet and muddy as she investigated in areas just off the trail. We met a fellow dog-walker with a dog that probably weighed more than his master! We didn't see any horses on this day, but often times riders will exercise their horses at the forest.
Anyways, good to be back there...
