Following our 'invigorating hike' we ventured out to see the ocean! We picked a spot on the map and drove towards it. When we arrived we quickly saw what I thought was a cliff (turns out it's called a bluff) and said, 'hey, let's follow that cliff'. When we arrived we found ourselves at the Beach at Del Mar where many doggies were running around madly happy! The kids were thrilled to see the beach and ride the waves. We trekked up to the top of the bluff to catch the view. We met a nice couple who offered to take our family photo. They recommended a beach we will likely go and see next weekend. We tried to linger at the top of the bluff, but the boys were yanking our arms to go down to the water. They caught some waves, found some rocks and hung out with mom and dad. A lovely way to end a long and fun-filled day!
