We decided that if there was a big rock we wouldn't pick it up just in case we might squish something by mistake. We had learned not to move natural objects around a lot at the tide pools, beaches or any natural place because it may disturb the environment. Now that we are in the desert, we realize that it's important that we should stick to that rule here as well. We all agreed that if something died, we would basically be losing a part of ourselves.
We stopped the rock game and started looking for more lizards. By the end of the day, we caught and released more than eight lizards. We also saw a tonne of scorpions. They were all small but one was super tiny. It was smaller than an ant. At the end of the day, we decided not to play the rock game anymore but we would definitely look for more lizards, geckos and scorpions again. But, next time we would be extra careful.
