I don't believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive.

Daffodil Trail

We have really been enjoying our Wednesday Hike Group.

What I like most about it, is a sense of calm I feel within the settings we walk in as well as the people we walk with.

There is no real agenda but to be in nature with people who enjoy the same.

Come if you wish one week, don't if you can't another.

See new places and return to familiar faves.

Sometimes, the weather has not cooperated, but we look forward to the sun in the summer that will hopefully add swimming and picnics to our hikes.

This trail was enjoyable as daffodils dot its path. We saw turtles and quiet places to be and great trees to climb.

Leash Intro.

The sun was shining brightly and it was an unusually warm day in February, so off we went to Hilton Falls...we thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce Oliver to walking on a leash.

Of course, he's a puppy, so he was rather wired especially at the beginning. By time we were done, he was asleep in my arms. What a trooper though. He walked a lot and through big mushy piles of snow too!

The boys enjoyed their typical adventuring with sticks and missions on the trail... we lost Matt's glasses...ugh... but they were thankfully found by a helpful jogger!

You never know what lies before you when you venture out! Good or bad, that's life! We love it!

Still chanting 'bring on spring!'

Stay warm and savour the sunshine!

New Year, New Hope, New Jean size by spring please?

Well, it's that time again...when you think about the kinds of changes you want to integrate into your life-sometimes they are changes you have tried to make before-like lifestyle habits surrounding exercise. Consistency in this department has always been a challenge for me! Now, I have two cohorts to help me stay on track. Josh and Maddy are right into going for walks and exercising on the wii fit. We all understand that we are there to support and encourage each other-as in, when you feel like going for a walk, make sure you get your butt over to your friend's place and encourage them to come! :) It's always more fun to do together! It doesn't hurt that this gives me time for outdoor photo opps and sometimes extra exercise for Willow or Oliver too! The trick is to try to get out there when it's freeezzzing!!!! Anyways, we will do our best and are glad to have each other! Plus, the boys and I are working on some small weights to get our arms ready for canoe paddling in the spring! Wish us luck!
