today is a rainy day
our day has gone something like this...
wake up just before 7
mommy makes coffee (of course)
kids and daddy roll out of bed
daddy checks blackberry and computer
mommy moves the fruit that's rolling around off the couch so daddy can sit down
(couch is sometimes the only place to put groceries after grocery day! sometimes the food just stays in the bags until we can eat enough to make a hole in the cupboards or fridge to put them in!)
mommy finds daddy casual socks to wear to work (cuz we're sock deficient around here)
hugs and kisses and off he goes to work
kids pat willow
cartoon network-johnny test, pokemon, animal planet
bagels all around
success in getting pics on blog!
organize the dishes so they can be washed
(this is quite a production of finding open spaces to place things :) i have a system-3X a day)
willow goes for a wet walk with lucas
visit with friends next door
computer time for each boy
mommy showers
mommy empties black and grey tanks
'coffee house' music playing
kids write valentine cards
mommy and matt play 'farkle' and i discover matt can do mental adding up to 2000 faster than I can add the same numbers on paper! :) (no laughing at me jeff)
kids take a walk to store and front office to check on candy guessing jar status with ali and maddy
mommy charges camera batteries getting ready for picture taking of our last weekend here
kids play with friends while mommy writes this blog entry
now it's time to organize and pitch some more stuff preparing for our next move (we spring clean before changing locations-it's a must-if you aren't using it say goodbye to it!)

we meet two other full-time RV'ing homeschooling families and their kids and chat away with them
one of the families is from alberta!
i walk katie home as lisa finishes laundry- a real treat as katie has recently given jeff and i our first hugs, kisses and cuddles...yay! she's warmin' up to us day by day...
the kids play more
we have dinner together-jeff on the bed cross-legged, kids on the couch beside daddy, mommy on the dining couch-it doesn't sound together but really it is...:)
we walk willow with daddy and our friends and watch maddy's video-taping of matthew dancing silly

Question: What did you like most about your rainy day at home?
Matt: I liked the arts and crafts because I liked making the umbrellas. I liked playing farkle because it's fun and you get points.
Lucas: I liked running around and playing with our stuffies. I liked doing the arts and crafts too.
Josh: I liked playing with Ali because I had fun sitting around, talking and playing Wii.
Mommy: I enjoyed the sense of 'normal' and calm I have felt today. I am thankful for all the kind, pleasant, fun and loving interactions I have experienced.
What did you like about your day today, Jeff?
Jeff: Coming home.
