We are not amusement park people.
At least we used to not be amusement park people.
Over the years, we have taken the kids mainly to local fairs and carnivals-but not the big ticket, typically much larger and more expensive places.
However, on our big trip, they got the biggest taste of amusement park fun at Disneyworld in California. Then, when we returned, their first visit to Wonderland and its huge rides! They were hooked! The thrill of the coasters have captured their interest...big time.
So, this year, we had an opportunity to go to Marineland with a group of friends during Jeff's holiday and we took it.
Crowds are not really our thing...but we knew the boys would be so excited to go on rides, see marine life and be with their friends, so we went.
They really enjoyed their day and spent the bulk of it focused on rides.
Marineland is offering a season's pass deal we couldn't really pass up and the boys would like to go back tomorrow!
So, we are looking forward to more visits in the future, especially in the fall when it won't be so insane there. Although, let's face it, Matt isn't going to wait that long...:)
