New Hockey Sticks Day!
Today was a day to get things done that needed to be done. However, it was also a great day as we got new hockey sticks for the boys, a bike replacement for me, went for a family bike ride and also saw the new Star Trek Movie at night!
Lucas has been especially excited about the playoffs. He has been talking about going home to play street hockey with his friends for a few weeks now. Getting new hockey sticks reminds the boys of fun times in Ontario and adds to their sense of being 'home' in Canada while in B.C.-being Canadian....:) We will have to be creative in finding spots for them to play. Jeff and I feel really happy just knowing how excited the boys feel. Sometimes the little things mean the most... and nothing is better than being together as a family enjoying these special yet simple moments....
