The boys and their friends have been busy for days building a base with their tools and stacks of wood. I went out there to see it yesterday early in the morning and was amazed by their progress and how peaceful it was.
I imagine they do see this is their own little sanctuary away from 'the adults'-a place for just them, a place they built without any help or input from anyone but themselves. Loving the freedom in that!
Ah to be a kid on the farm!
